But this tour explores much more than the influence of the era of the pharaohs.   It takes on a much broader perspective and delves into the expanse of Islamic art whether it be in architectural design and building, ornate wall and ceiling decorations, weaves, and so much more.  

From the very breath and intensity of Islamic form, the tour looks through the ages and up to the present.  And we then delve into contemporary art forms of modern day artisans.  These artists embrace the challenges and heights of Egyptian life. Egyptian artists are taking their place on the world stage and the world has come to appreciate  the creativeness, intensity, and brilliance of these new artisans as they confront the present and the past with moving, emotional, and penetrating insight.
