Nairobi National Park has welcomed a new and rare species of white rhino. The news about the birth of the young rhino was shared by Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) on Saturday, February 15. “We are thrilled to report the birth of a white rhino in Nairobi National Park. The lucky mother rhino had gone into hiding from hawk-eyed rangers only for her to resurface with a three-day-old calf. Welcome to the family baby rhino,” tweeted KWS.

Our guide, Carol took us to a village of the Kikuyu tribe on the outskirts of Nairobi to get a first hand look at their way if life. We sat with them, cooked and ate with them.
